![]() ![]() If you see a dialog box asking if you wish to overwrite, there is already a world with the name you have chosen saved in the savedworlds directory.From the server menu, give the world a name and select Save World.Worlds will be saved to MacOSX/Users/Shared/MineCraftEdu/minecraftedu/servertool/worlds/savedworlds. ![]() When you and your class have finished a session in MineCraftEdu, you may wish to save the world you were working in so that you can return to it next time. For more information, see our tutorial on the MineCraftEdu World Library. These are worlds made by the MineCraftEdu community, designed with specific learning objectives in mind. Finally, you can load a pre-built world from the MineCraftEdu World Library.You can also load a saved world, either something you were working on earlier, or something interesting you want to share with students.It takes longer to generate a world than it does to load a pre-built one. Rather than using the tutorial world, you can create a new world, which generates a random world the same way a standard MineCraft game does.The Settings tab allows you to change your password, while the other tabs let you control the server, although these options are also available in-game. There are quite a few options on the window, but the important ones are World Name, at the top right, and the World Information Tab. Take note of the IP address and leave this window open for as long as you want the server to run.
